Hello friends!

This page is dedicated to all things ME. Here you will find a teeny glimpse into who I am, why I started this blog, and any other random information I think is important for you to know!  So if you want to get to know me better then keep on readin’ –if not, that’s okay too!

Like I said, my name is May Yazdi (just in case that wasn’t obvious from the name of the website). I am a 26 year old Iranian-American girl recently relocated from our Nation’s Capitol to sunny Los Angeles, California (updated photo to come!) with my hubby, Chase and our precious little dog, Nella.

Like many of you, throughout my life, I’ve always wondered “what am I GREAT at?”. And up until now, I haven’t been able to figure it out.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m decent a lot of different things (or at least I think I am), but we’re not trying to be decent out here people, we want to be GREAT.

Well. Without getting too much into detail right now, as I’ve been doing my soul-searching I have gone back and forth and back again-trust me. And although there are many things in life I truly enjoy, writing is the one thing I am PASSIONATE about. In fact, my very first major in college was English with a minor in Journalism (that’s a whole other story). Writing has always given me a sense of purpose. It has provided me with an outlet to express myself in ways I didn’t know were possible. It is the one thing I can truly say makes me feel like I have meaning. And I think that’s pretty awesome.

Fast forward a couple years, and here I am. Starting a blog. Where will it take me? I don’t know. Who will care? Not sure. Does it matter? Absolutely not. Because this blog isn’t about that. This blog is for me. This blog is for my readers. This blog is for YOU ALL and as long as my fingers keep typin’ and your eyes keep readin’, I will continue to write, because this is for US. For our passion. For our purpose. And because this is what makes me feel GREAT. And if my passion, and my purpose, and my greatness resonates with you, there’s nothing more I could want 🙂

Booses, May
